What to include in a bug report
The tool you were using, and the URL of the page you were on.
Your browser and operating system — Chrome on Windows, Safari on iPhone, and so on. Video handling differs a lot between them, and this is usually the first thing that explains a failure.
The file you were working with: format (MP4, MOV, WebM), roughly how long and how large, and whether it came off a phone.
What happened, and what you expected instead. A screenshot helps.
Please do not send the video itself. We cannot receive it and we do not need it — the details above are enough to reproduce almost anything.
Feature requests
Genuinely welcome, and they do shape what gets built next. The most useful requests describe the job you were trying to finish rather than just a feature name: "I need the audio out of a clip for a podcast" is more actionable than "add mp3 export".
Response time
Usually within a few days. Vidkito is a small project, so there is no support team and no 24-hour promise — but messages are read, and bug reports get fixed.
